March CSRT Commissioner’s Notes

csrtGreetings All!

Just a quick note as a reminder – CSRT meets tomorrow night, March 13th at Luther Jackson Middle School. We have another great program planned which you won’t want to miss. Additionally, we will host the Spring Join Scouting Night Recruitment Training event on the same night, from 7 pm to 7:45 pm, just prior to Roundtable. A word from District Commissioner, Shawn Ireland re Spring JSN:

Good Morning Cub Scout Leaders!

Next Thursday, March 13th, we will be hosting Spring Join Scouting Night Recruitment Training. Spring is upon us so now is the time to begin thinking about recruiting new youth to the program to enjoy Cub Scouting during the summer! We will have recruiting materials for you. Please have someone attend the training.  Our goal as a council this Spring is to recruit 1000 new boys into cub scouting! You can help us be a part of this awesome movement and help us deliver scouting to more youth!

Please let me know if you or someone from your pack will be attending Spring JSN so we can ensure there are enough training materials. Thank you.

Helen reminds us that we will be making more camping items this month. Please don’t forget to bring your large coffee cans and coat hangers, hammers and wire cutters for making Buckets and poppers. Thanks! – Helen
