Outdoor Recreation Day Trip – Historic Shepherdstown WV!

Dear Group / Troop Leader,Explore the beautiful Potomac River near historic Shepherdstown WV & Antietam Battlefield!
We invite you to bring your     recreational group or Boy/Girl Scout Troop to explore the beautiful Potomac     River near historic Shepherdstown WV and the Antietam Battlefield.      This part of the river is great for camping, recreational kayaking or     canoeing, fishing, and more. 

Shepherdstown Pedal &     Paddle can provide kayaks and shuttle service for your troop to spend the     day on the river.  We are located in downtown Shepherdstown, just     across the river from the C&O Canal at     milepost 72.6.

 

Option A:     Dam #4 to Shepherdstown Boat Ramp (3 to 6 hours)

 

Option B:     Snyder’s Landing to Shepherdstown Boat Ramp (1 to 2 hours)

 

Option C:     Your suggestion – we enjoy catering to your special requests.  If you     have another suggestion for a trip along the Potomac River, please ask     about availability and price.

 

Make Antietam Campground     your “base camp”, 3 miles from Shepherdstown at the Antietam     Aqueduct.  We can shuttle your group from there!

 

Our mission at     Shepherdstown Pedal & Paddle is to make fitness a fun activity for the     young and the old….we offer a special rate for kayak, canoe, and bike     rentals to recreational groups and Boy/Girl Scout Troops of an additional 10%     off regular price.
