Annual Dues ($12) for the Order of the Arrow (OA) for 2013 are now payable. The Lodge has decided that this will now be done on-line. Active OA members (i.e. dues paid in 2012) should have received an e-mail from the Lodge detailing the procedures. (Inactive members – those who have paid dues since 2009 but did not pay in 2012 may also have received the e-mail.) If you did not receive such an e-mail please contact Mr. De Lauder at firstname.lastname@example.org .
The URL for paying the dues is http://www.boyscouts-ncac.org/OpenRosters/View_Homepage.aspx?orgkey=2002 (once there,click on the blue 2013 Dues) . You will need your BSA ID number which is on your BSA membership Card and your Order of the Arrow Lodge Master (OALM) ID number which is found on your OA membership card. (If you need these numbers, please contact Mr. De Lauder.)
The balance of the information that you will be asked is:
- First name, Middle name, Last name, Suffix, Nickname;
- Mailing address;
- Primary telephone number and type (business, home, cell, etc)
- E-mail address that you wish to be used for communication from the Lodge;
- Chapter (George Mason), Unit type, and number
At the end of the process, you will be given the option to pay by credit card or by mailing a check in to Council.
Note for the 12 new Ordeal members who took their Ordeal this fall – this discussion of 2013 dues does not apply to you. Your dues for 2013 were part of the fee for your Ordeal.
If you have not paid dues since 2008, or if you are transferring from another Lodge, you will will need to download the form from the Lodge website and mail it in. (Mr. De Lauder ususaly carries some blanks with him.)
